Chris K.Mäusebussard auf Beobachtungsposten, wartend auf gute Beute. Leider sah ich dass sein linkes Auge verletzt, also blind war. Aber sonst war er prächtig und wirkte gesund. Common buzzard at observation posts, waiting for good prey. Unfortunately, I saw that his left eye was injured, so he was blind. But otherwise he was magnificent and seemed healthy. At the moment you can also see them in our pasture fences, in meadows and fields, together with kestrels. Ich komme selten so nahe ran....dieses Mal war er geduldig mit mir, wohlwollen würde ich sogar sagen.

Jason LeeI spent an hour this morning watching a distinct distant ‘white creature’ in the trees. Just far enough away to not get a clear view with lens & / or binoculars. At first I thought maybe one of the Buzzards I’ve seen the last few days, it’s breast / underside glistening in the morning sun. It’s behaviour & perch, that of a bird of prey. The common buzzard’s distribution area covers all of Europe, with the exception of islands and northern Scandinavia. The common buzzard is a medium-sized, compact bird of prey. It is 51 to 57 centimetres long and has a wingspan of 113 to 128 centimetres. Adult males in Germany weigh an average of 790 g (622 to 1183 g in general), and females weigh an average of 990 g. KikiI saw this buzzard sitting there in the afternoon when the sun was already down. It really annoyed me because it was just too dark for a good photo. The next day I was even happier when it sat in the same place again while it was looking for mice. It is 51 to 57 centimetres long and has a wingspan of 113 to 128 centimetres. Adult males in Germany weigh an average of 790 g (622 to 1183 g in general), and females weigh an average of 990 g.
