#Bluesky *could* make cross-communication with the #Fediverse easy. They *could* make use of @snarfed.org 's #BridgyFed a button in the UI rather than something users need to discover. They *could* simply add #ActivityPub alongside #AtProto. But they don't. Right now, Meta with #Threads is a far better representative of things open than Bluesky.

Ich habe mal angefangen, auch verifizierte Accounts von Medien zusammenzutragen, die per #BridgyFed von #Bluesky aus auf #Mastodon etc. verfügbar sind und solche, die im restlichen #Fediverse eingerichtet wurden.
Wer welche kennt, bitte gerne einen Hinweis geben!
Ziel ist eine Riesentabelle mit allen verifizierten Accounts von Medien im Fediverse (ich bin aktuell bei ca. 930, die 1000 ist also in Reichweite).
Gerne auch teilen!
I have now started two projects, to collect verified accounts by the media that are bridged via #BridgyFed and media in the #Fediverse but not on #Mastodon, @Threads or #Flipboard.
But with both, I need help: Please, if you know of accounts, that fit in both categories then send me a handle.
My goal is a big spreadsheet with alle accounts by media organizations in the #Fediverse, that you can filter by software or sort by "last active" & more.

I don't really post much over there except work things and boosting/engaging with political stuff (since I'm on @fosstodon here and political content is not permitted).
If you have accounts on both, have you stopped posting on one protocol? Or do you go to different platforms for different types of content/ conversation?

@elCelio interesting! Currently it's got 824 boosts on Mastodon, of which ~165 are bridged to Bluesky ... so that's roughly 20% adioption of #BridgyFed in this sample set, which is pretty decent for opt-in! FYI @quillmatiq @snarfed.org
Of course it's not that surprising that there are a lot more boosts and likes of Nathan's post here (where he was 3400 followers and it was boosted by several 10K+ follower accounts) than on his bridged profile (which only has 77 followers). So one way of looking at it is that bridigng only added 1% to the number of boosts and 2% fo the number of likes ... which doesn't sound like a huge impact.
On the other hand his skeet from his Bluesky account (which has 5000 folllowers) also only got 5 boosts (along with 19 likes), so another way of looking at it is that bridging doubled his Bluesky engagement!

Hey, #Fediverse, I hope there are some #ScienceFiFans out there who might be interested in following @damiengwalter.com.
Damien is a science fiction reviewer, essayist, and blogger who operates the Science Fiction Facebook group and a YT channel of the same name, which I have found *very* interesting and a lot of fun, and way deeper than just talking about the latest entry in the whatever-verse. He's recently established a BlueSky presence, and when some random guy (ie, me) asked him out of the blue he was kind enough to bridge his account to the fediverse, via #BridgyFed
The tag line for his bsky account is "I take Science Fiction very seriously", and if you do too, I think you'd enjoy following him.
I think there have to be more than a few SF fans out here, but I also expect I suck at this whole promotion thing, so please boost, and if you have better ideas for tags feel free to spread this post to those as well.

Bridgy Fed Configという設定ページが2025年4月上旬にリリース予定らしい。ブリッジのオンオフ、ActivityPubからAT Protocolにブリッジする場合のカスタムドメインの設定、ブリッジされた投稿の表示などができる。他の機能も追加予定とのこと。
