Making that dough was a sheer delight in my Ankarsrum. Best dough it's ever made. It's bouncy, soft, stretchy and smooth. A baker's dream.

Yes I'm getting overly soppy about my bread dough, but it is looking good.

Now I'm going to leave it for an hour ish and then we're going to shape some baps!

Damage to grass seed – an Oregon crop valued at $458 million in 2020 – is a major issue. But other crops are affected, as well. Slugs will take out specialty crops like mint.

Yay. Edible dried flowers, to tart up bread dough.

I'd wanted these for a while but because I have to buy most things online, I make lists of the things I need & want, and only order this kind of stuff, when I can combine it with other orders.

I'd feel uncomfortable having a car drive from the Gods know where for just a few dried flowers - you know, in the midst of a climate crisis.

I'm happy I now have them though

Closeup of two small pastic containers, each containing 10 grams of dried edible flowers. No idea what kind of flowers but they are extremely colourful. I will be having a lot of fun with these.
