Kevin Leecaster
@jacklaridian
It's the voters responsibility to make the best choice. Jon Stewart is just another talking head taking the easy way by sticking with the #BothSidesAreBad narrative that gave us Trump in the first place sadly.

The choice is crystal clear, but people getting paid to talk have to try to make it into a difficult decision.

Kevin Leecaster
The modern GOP in one toot:

Chip Roy released a video on twitter going after Gaetz:

“You want to come at me and call me a RINO you can kiss my ass! You go around talking your big game and thumping your chest on Twitter. Come in my office and have a debate mother —-!”

How is our media going to #BothSidesAreBad this shit I'm wondering. I expect that Doug Balloon will predict it pretty well.

Kevin Leecaster
They're welcome to their opinion I reckon, but it seems dangerous to me to not acknowledge that we have a two-party system of government.

The reason that we still are stuck with so many anachronisms is because voter turnout is so low too, especially in the Democratic primaries.

I do take umbrage with the accusation that our efforts to fight the fascists is what causes it though. Ranked Choice Voting is the solution too btw.

#BothSidesAreBad they say without acknowledging that one's worse.

James Britt
Thing I've noticed about #BothSidesAreBad people is that if I start ragging on the more liberal/democratic side (whomever that may be), they are all for it and join in.

If I start ragging on the not-liberal, not-democratic side, they immediately jump in with "Well but what about [liberal/democratic side person]!??!!"

Every time.

They use "both sides are bad" because they have no positive defense for their (secretly) preferred side. So they make bullshit equivalencies.

Kevin Leecaster
Really curious if the GOP keeps this as their official platform in 2024 and how it works out for them and if the #BothSidesAreBad people that never vote choose to make an exception now that it's gotten so hot since they didn't bother voting before.

Kevin Leecaster
I know that rational people find it hard to believe, but there are still a ton of Americans that are willing to let the GOP still keep power because they think that #BothSidesAreBad in our two-party political system that we've allowed to keep control over our political landscape here.

Well, if you care about our #ClimateCrisis and you're willing to do something about it than you #Vote and you #VoteBlue

This is just a plain undeniable truth.
