Afternoon run.

We, or rather I was intending a swim, but driving hail (July and we are not in Scotland) and a great wetness somewhat dampened my desire to get into the water post run. 13k, road and track.

It will be tomorrow now and at least we will be dry starting.. here’s hoping

13k, mainly road, fast cos we were freezing.

Remembrance swim 3 of 61

A lovely morning so we did our favourite 12k road run and then pushed over to Lindean - an artificial loch, formed when the Victorian clay pit was excavated. Breezy on the water but fun - the loch is less than 1k long, but we did the run around the circumference with a bonus for the dug when he found a discarded ball and insisted on carrying it - hoping I would throw it

58 to go.

Remembrance swim 1 of 61

Over to the Loch of the Lowes for a 2k swim this morning followed by a 12k run around St Mary’s Loch. I wore a wetsuit (the dug didn’t) but there was no need - waters warm. The run around the Loch was tracks and grassland with a little bit of road, varying between flat and rolling - and bog.

60 to go, spread between Scotland, Northern England, Faroe, Iceland and Denmark. Stayed dry too,

Morning run

Over for the weekly IT/DIY tasks that are the lot of the nearest competent son.

12k, all road, threatening (but no wetness), and a very nice temperature. A rainbow to boot. Enjoying breakfast!

Caturday

There are two decent cat beds, a larger dog bed and a comfortable upright chair in the office. Inevitably when not sitting on the armchair, where is the mogs chosen perch?

But the dug takes the opportunity to squeeze on whenever room becomes available. If the tabby goes he will extend to fit. And so the cycle goes.
