There's a certain vocalist affectation which I don't have a name for.

I think it's pretty common in pop punk vocalists, particularly Mark Hoppus of Blink 182.

The vocalist for Korine is also guilty of it, particularly on their "Tear" album.

I like Blink-182. I’m rooting for them. However, it’s hard not to take “One More Time” and its ‘reunited and it feels so good’ vibe with a grain of salt given the precedent.
