The Birdman of AlrewasI’ve not posted for a while. I went away for a couple of weeks and managed to kill my camera in the sea!!! I did manage to get some spectacular shots before the accident which I will be posting soon. In the meantime I took this at the beginning of August. The Birdman of AlrewasWhen I was a child we used to see lots of these. Their population has decreased by over 60% since the mid 1960s. It gives a fantastic acrobatic flying display at this time of year.
