Also now need to figure out what to do about this rip in my bar tape that goes right through. It happened when I dropped my bike on some gravel. The current bar tape is barely worn except for the rip and I would rather not have to re-do it

Bike is clean! Waiting for it to dry some more before relubing the chain. Only done maybe three short rides this year and incredibly frustrated. The cleaning I’ve done has taken off last autumn’s grime. My first foray into #TubelessRoadTires is not going well. Despite all the YouTube tips I absolutely cannot persuade these tires to seat on these wheels with this admittedly asthmatic track pump. Now waiting for a charge canister to arrive. The total cost in time and money is getting to where I better not flat for the rest of the year. #BikeMastodon

I bought new #Schwalbe #Landcruiser #Tyres for my #ebike to replace the worn ones (also Landcruiser, same size) . One went on fine but the other kept popping off the rim as I inflated it. Tried 5 times, tried different inner tube too. Gave up and put old one back, which went on fine. Is this likely to be a bad tyre? #BikeMastodon
Ich fahre seit ungefähr 6 Jahren nur noch #Fahrrad. 1 Giant + 1 Lastenrad. In dieser Zeit bin ich jedes Jahr, trotz richtig viel Übergewicht, zwische 3000 und 6000 km gefahren.
Im Gegensatz zum Auto habe ich damit mehr als 3 Tonnen CO2 eingespart. Über die mehreren tausende Euro die ich gespart habe wollen wir gar nicht reden. Es wäre jedes Jahr fast ein neues Lastenrad drin.
Für ein Auto ist mir mein Geld und vor allem meine Zeit viel zu schade.
