Entweder kommen die ersten Besucher erst viel später. Oder sie kommen schon sehr früh, doch sie finden kaum Nahrung.So haben Forscher in der Krefelder Studie gezeigt, dass die Insektenbiomasse von 1990 bis 2017 um rund 75 Prozent zurückgegangen ist. Und auch in der Rote-Listen werden über 40% der Insektenarten als extrem selten, ausgestorben oder im Bestand gefährdet eingestuft.Der Verlust der biologischen Vielfalt betrifft aber nicht nur Insekten, sondern auch Vögel, Fische oder Frösche - und auch Ökosysteme. Sie sind aus der Nähe hübsch anzusehen. An Nisthilfen stellt ihr Vorkommen allerdings für bereits bestückte Nester von anderen Bienen- und Wespenarten eine schlechte Nachricht dar. Axel SteinerDer "Gesang" des Hausrotschwanz (Phoenicurus ochruros) gehört in vielen Städten, Dörfern und Industriegebieten zum Sommer dazu. Ende September bis Mitte Oktober verlässt er uns wieder und fliegt gen Mittelmeer oder bis Nordafrika, bevor er ab etwa März wieder zu uns zurückkehrt. Meist sitzt er auf irgendwelchen Dachrinnen oder Dächern. Die etwa 4 mm große Erzwespe (Monodontomerus aeneus) versucht dort ihre Eier in die Nester von Mauerbienen (Osmia spec.) abzulegen. Deren Larven bzw. Puppen werden dann von innen aufgefressen.
