Comme souvent il devrait compter quatorze pages doubles . Reliure collée, dérivée de la reliure "à l'américaine" .

C'est une double page de papier blanc dont on voit la pliure au milieu. Sur chaque page des traces d'encre de Chine . Du faux texte parcours une partie des espaces vides,. Des fragments de tissus à mailles lâches dans des nuances de gris, et des morceaux de papiers déchirés sont cousus sur chaque page. L'un de ces fragments vient d'un monotype raté et représente un jeune homme qui marche. Des broderies blanches sont apparentes par endroit.
