- Ich glaub' nicht, dass das "#Internet" an sich "stibt" sondern dass Leute sich entscheiden weg von der #Kommerzialisierung und #Enshittification mit #AIslop per #AntisocialMedia und mehr zum #Fediverse und/oder #SelfHosting auf #Tor gehen werden weil @torproject #Scraping als #DDoS passiv bekämpft!

I am currently building a filter file for this very reason. Most Americans are completely delusional and just repeat the mantras of their cult camps. Meanwhile in their own minds they are legendary freedom fighters and humanitarians, as they tilt at windmills and regurgitate bunco hustle deceptions. 90% of my feed is just the same false left versus right propaganda, grounded in fantasy and selective facts, full of venom, bile, spleen, angry fantasy, false accusations, slanders, calumnies, paranoias and hatred, all masked in some way shape or form as 'patriotic' or 'humanitarian' or 'progressive' or 'justice' or 'freedom fight', yet it is all bird brain twaddle from big-headed mockingbirds.
Let me know if you have any good methods for filtering the brain rot. I'm running snac2. I filter out some tags but it barely makes a dent.

Where do these people come from, part Umpteen: Make a throwaway comment/joke on YT, and get a full-on "Reply Guy" answer of 300 words about why my comment is wrong! This is the train of thought: "Hello, I have no life at all, so I get my jollies by searching for random comments in threads I'm not interested in, then I make a smug statement on how it's inaccurate about a week after the post was made. I'm SMART!".

So when are we going to talk about the fact that there is a law that requires social media to have a block feature and Twitter got in trouble when they got rid of theirs but somehow Youtube to this day does not
The worst part about #fedi is knowing that absolutely none of these out of pocket commenters are bots 
@Wen Again: That'll rather make one more suspicious as they have bulk access to all data ever posted on #AntisocialMedia owned by #US corporations.
- Either one is completely not using any of those (and not using #NSAbook is deemed suspicious!) or better yet doesn't enter the #USA at all.
Same restrictions apply for people in #transit or even partially entering #US #airspace!
- TLDR: STAY AWAY FROM THE USA CUZ IT'S LIKE #NorthKorea RIGHT NOW, IF NOT WORSE FOR TOURISTS!

This was peak #Twitter ("peak" is not a compliment in this case). I think perhaps I'm seeing it more on #mastodon and the #fediverse in general in the past year.
