"Shout" - Ant & Dec

All the stars are here. Ant and Dec lift the bassline from Lou Reed's "Walk on the wild side", the chorus from Tears for Fears' "Shout", and draft in Andy Bell from Erasure on backing vocals.

The lads had matured, Dec (sitting on the wrong side) strums guitar, Ant leads on a song about their frustration at not being listened to. Perhaps an indication that the pop star life was not for them.

"When I fall in love" - Ant & Dec

Another duo whose pop career was nearing its natural end, Ant and Dec changed their name, but kept the mindless pop twaddle.

Sold to their existing fans, but left the rest of us a bit bored: c'mon lads, you're better than this. (And start by standing the other way round, or change your name to Dec & Ant.)
