The slow process of educating others about the pandemic, one by one with personal connection in the absence of appropriate PH messaging, reminds me of that one chapter of the #Animatrix, "Matriculated".

In the episode, a group of rebel humans on the surface are reprogramming a captured Matrix-bot. It's a massive effort of technology and empathy, but they do get one to "turn" and join their fight... Just before a group of evil Matrix-bots swarm their hideout and basically kill everyone.

I forgot a lot of this backstory. It’s funny to think that the whole idea was that we abused machines and #technology to the point it rebelled. When in reality, it seems as a race we’ll be too busy abusing each other and exploiting our own as a source of energy, #labor, and wealth instead.

If you make robots to do everything, who’s going to #work? I who’s going to dangle the carrots?
