Alguén ten probado a colección de apss de Fossify en #fdroid ? Porque mirei que teñen bastantes cousas básicas, pero non sei que tal son nin se son de fiar(?)

I watched a #youtube video tonight on my #android phone and when I tried to log out of #YouTube I wasn't able to do it. The Google help instructions didn't resemble the menu choices. I finally gave up. It seems clear that is their intent. Another reason to #degoogle.

#FediAsk / #BikeTooter : Is there a #free and #opensource software ( #FOSS ) on #Android for #bike #navigation which allows to upload a #GPX route, *easily* and quickly modify it before as well as *during* navigation, and at the end download the GPX file? I love the #OsmAnd navigation tool, but, since I am by far not a #geek ,somehow fail to quickly modify the tracks.

#Random smartphone/electronics tidbit of the day: apparently using an (unlocked) AT&T Samsung phone with a T-Mobile sim causes infinite reboots for updates, because the T-Mobile sim triggers an attempt to update firmware; but AT&T phones -- even unlocked -- lock the bootloader, so there's constant contention for firmware updates from the T-Mobile SIM... can't ever load their preferred firmware, so it reboots every hour. LOL. (not important, just playing with my son's old phone).

Lesson so far: NEVER BUY a network locked phone if you intend to play with it after it's obsolete. Or, only use it on a network where they are not attempting to reload their own firmware.
