Apple is turning its AirPods into the Babel fish from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

Apple (AAPL) is designing a new AirPods feature that would allow users to listen and respond to live translations of in-person conversations, according to a Bloomberg report that cites unnamed sources. The feature will reportedly work in tandem with an iPhone, which will translate speech for the user and relay it to a pair of AirPods. When the user responds, the iPhone will play a translation out loud, enabling a two-way conversation.

Now using Apple AirPod Pro Model 2 as a hearing aid.
Not always a fan of Apple's walled garden but they work better than my prior hearing aids.
Don't interfere with my glasses or masks.

Better fit, easier to swap in and out. Control on iphone is very good, noise cancellation is great.

Downsides - I needed to swap my Android for an iphone. Much more visible than my prior hearing aid.

I got by chance a pair of #apple #airpod of some old generation I think.

Listening the sound quality and them them falling from my ear time to time makes me think the design appears to be more important than functionality.

Or do I just have some sort of slippery skin in my ears
