I want to trace shapes from a scanned image. Is there a tool to do that? I mean, drag a marquee over the placed image and a vector shape is created sort of thing.</p><p>It seems odd I can’t find one. Such things existed way back in FreeHand and Illustrator n the last millennium.</p><p>Boosts welcome. Busy today with working on 1000 x 600 mm poster boards for Singleton Environment Centre. It's a pro-bono job of 6 boards for birds, bees, reptiles, wildflowers, bats, and what not.... Idunno the sixth one off the top of my head. I am doing this in <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/affinitydesigner2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>affinitydesigner2</span></a> because I don't know Publisher all too well. Learning curve too steep for this deadline. </p><p>Oh yeah, I have to do 2 versions each for visual <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/accessibility" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>accessibility</span></a> sake black text on light BG/white text on dark BG.</p>
Andrulian<p>Very impressed by the Serif Affinity suite.
