I’m headed over to #FocusMate to get some work done. I’m working on #AcWriMo2022 (a textbook) and updating me my website #Coach #academicchatter #Interpreting #FacultySucessCoach

Anyone else participating in #AcWriMo2022 ? I’m hoping to write for most days in November to try and turbo-charge my PhD thesis! The goal is to have two chapters drafted and another chapter close to finalize, good luck to everyone doing it! :)
It‘s day 3 of #AcWriMo2022 and I used it to finish my presentation for Constructions et Contexte(s) (https://contextes2022.sciencesconf.org) in Paris next week! Come and say hi if you‘re also there! I‘ll talk about the role of sentence and usage context(s) of constructions in Pedagogical Construction Grammar. Oh, and about hot dogs and sandwiches
I forgot to #AltText ...Text on a piece of paper which reads "blog, what Beyonce taught me about setting up for #AcWriMo 2022" set on top of a cardboard background with a November calendar printed on. Text on the background reads #AcWriMo2022, image is of a cat in a hat baking with the text "brain dumps", next to a calendar with each day (date) in squares on, a heart is stamped over the number two to indicate the date for the entry.
Wrote a blog for #AcWriMo - "What Beyonce taught me about setting up for #AcWriMo2022" https://crenellatedarts.com/acwrimo2022-01 #SoTL #writing #AcWri
Some #academics out there are really overestimating their readers' interest in puzzling through obscurantist language and vague ideas. From where I sit, the problem has gotten worse and worse every year. How are we going to fix this?
I remember now why I usually stop doing Academic Writing Month! ... Overthinking.
Also one of the many reasons I actually began blogging to learn to sit with imperfection.
And the ability to edit later *cough*
Okay without further ado: first (well fifth but first I dared to press publish) blog post for the month.
