@austinkocher DHS was created in 2002 when republicans, having initially rejected doing a new department, reversed course when they saw an electoral opportunity against war hero senator Mac Cleland. It continues to reflect that level of wisdom and reasoned plan.

Why do we refer some collisions as being "mid air"? Are there "edge air" ones? We don't do the same for marine incidents ... "There was a mid-water sinking today ... " is not said. But air? yup, gotta specify some relationship to some other, but unstated, parameter.

"What Have I Done to Deserve This?" is a song by English #synthpop duo #PetShopBoys and soul singer #DustySpringfield, taken from the duo's second studio album, #Actually (1987). The song was released as the second single from the album on 10 August 1987. A commercial success in both the United Kingdom and North America, the song helped revive Springfield's career and led to a resurgence of interest in her music. this study 'could be' llm-generated. nothing new under the sun. more importantly, they try not to be human-centered, but still use terms like (the lack of) true 'reasoning' and true 'understanding' without even teasing what those #actually mean. what are they talking 'about'? they don't seem to know. the failure to address this definitional #gap weakens the overall impact of the paper but is an inspiration to move forward without leaving this gap.
