"Harper Valley PTA" is a #countrySong written by #TomTHall, which in 1968 became a major international hit single for country singer #JeannieCRiley. Riley's record, her debut, sold over six million copies as a single, and it made her the first woman to top both the #BillboardHot100 and the U.S. Hot Country Singles charts with the same song (but not at the same time), a feat that would not be repeated until #DollyParton's "#9To5" 13 years later in 1981.

Before we were introduced to the ominous HAL 9000, some knew his older, creepy, sexist cousin Mr. Typewriter, personified by a Royal 660 which appears in the 1966 short film/advertisement Successful Secretary presented by Royal Office Typewriters and directed by  Carl A. Carbone.

"9 to 5" (or "Morning Train") is a song by #SheenaEaston from 1981 album #TakeMyTime. It was written by British songwriter Florrie Palmer and recorded and released as single in 1980, becoming Easton's biggest hit. It peaked at number three in the United Kingdom in August 1980 and was certified #gold. In February 1981, it was released in the United States and Canada under the title "Morning Train (Nine to Five)" to avoid confusion with #DollyParton's recent hit "#9To5".
