I won a game of #40k this afternoon for the first time ever! It was *close*.
They thought we were gonna have racism against (sentient, emotional) AI because humans could never accept a mere artificial machine as their equal.
Instead, in the real world today it's humans mystifying and humanising decidedly non-sentient robots and treating them as trustworthy gods because they don't understand technology and therefore default to anthropomorphisation.
In a way, Tech Priests from #Warhammer40k are the most accurate prediction!

I have a cold, but that doesn’t mean I can't take photos of this #adeptaSororitas Palatine proxy that I wrapped up before getting sick.
Printing something *way* too large to (a) use in a sensible #warhammer #40k game and (b) find storage space for.
Fun though, and this will be the crowning glory of my Tyranid army.
It’s mostly the “Xenarid King” model from Stationforge, with a few parts (like the head and guns) from the “Xenarid Queen”, scaled to 85% to match the official Heirophant model size.

I'm entering some #stormcasteternals into #goldendemon at #adepticon this year. These guys might get disqualified, I needed dudes with ranged weapons, so I gave #ageofsigmar guys some #40k weapons.
Once you let the Genestealer Cult in, they breed like rabbits.

I have some frustrations with the writing style, but Warriors of Ultramar just kinda slaps as a book. Half of it is about training PDF soldiers. The ganger plotline is great.
