At what point does a bubble become the status quo and is no longer a bubble. I told a young med student about 8 years ago not to invest in crypto. He’s now worth $2 million dollars. I always sucked at investing. I still think this isn’t going to end well.

The 2nd-to-last shareholders during the Dot-Boom did pretty well. The trick is knowing you're the 2nd-to-last.

During my multiple cycles through startups, I always told other who had early option shares (I never had early) to remember what their wildest dreams were when they started - and to cash out when the price got there, REGARDLESS of where they thought it MIGHT go.

I saved several "house dreams". Others watched their dreams of one more car go down the drain. Some lost even more

*if* the price had already passed their original dreams, I advised them to CASH OUT, and leave the rest for the gamble. Never once saw the extra gamble payout. Several turned into $100K+ tax bills. (AMT on unrealized gains after exercising shares for early Tax basis - trying to squeak extra pennies out of tax basis)
