One headline said Europe was being left out of peace talks between the US and Russian Hitler.
No, the US is excluding itself from Europe's resistance to the fool sending nearly 1 million Russian boys to their dearh and collapsing the Russian economy.
Trump trying to save Putin is TOO LATE, and it might destroy Trump.

@stux I think you mean that only Ukraine decides whether to sign an agreement.
Peace depends only on the aggressor. Ukraine's goal is an agreement that guarantees that Ukraine will exist and that Russia will not attack again (even if it means sacrificing something). It is not exactly Ukraine choosing peace. Ukraine chooses whether to resist disappearance or not
@stux But in all of this, it is important to understand that there are bad deals. If the agreement leads to a temporary peace and Russia can attack Ukraine in 5 years without consequences, it is bad for Ukraine. So we need to think about this when we see any draft agreements (current statements mean nothing, only the actual documents will matter).
I'm just sharing my opinion that the situation is really complicated

@stux Many of us in the USA are appalled at Trump's bootlicking of Putin. No peace negotiations are valid without Ukraine. And Ukraine wants European involvement, because they can no longer count on America having their back. I am ashamed of my country's government.
@stux Well, Ukraine in march 2022 was wanting to conclude a very favourable peace, until Boris Johnson arrived to urge them to fight on, that they would be supported without limit as long as needed, but that all support, on which Ukraine was dependend to survive finanancially and economically would stop, if they went on with the negotiations.
@slotos @stux There were first peace talks in Minsk, later in Istanbul. This led to preliminary agreements, a fact now also admitted in the west (but maybe you missed that). Not everybody on the Ukrainian side agreed with finally rejecting a for them quite favorable agreement. One of the negotiators Denis Kirejev was executed on the street by Ukrainian intelligence (shot while trying to escape, as was said in WO II "Auf dem flucht erschossen").
@stux I agree completely with the part that we have to support Ukraine no matter what and should unite in Europe to do much more to cover up for the Americans.
I do not completely agree with that we are not invaded. Perhaps not like the Ukraine but when I read the news, cut electric and communication cables in the Baltic see, sabotage on German war ships, all what is happening in cyberspace, ... We are at least under attack and urgently need to fight back or I see our democracy endangered.
@stux Putin can accept or refuse peace, too. And if Putin refuses it, Ukraine has to choose between war or being conquered.
@stux If Trump is going to end a biblical era battle on the Gaza strip by buying it (not sure from who) and turning it into a world class resort that can employ all the war victims as low class slave labor, just think of how the Ukraine, under Trump, can also be purchased and turned into exclusive golf clubs.
Just a passing thought, however, Ukraine needs the worlds help and should get it. This old school conquer and colonize doesn't work.

@stux And Ukraine has the support of so many millions of Americans also. We must rid our country of the cancer that we have and get back to supporting them as soon as we can.

@stux Also, only the Ukrainians can decide on territory, mineral rights, business access etc.
