I'm still struggling to find a fitting name for the medieval RPG I'm working on..
So much is taken and I don't wanna step on any (studio) balls
Even tried AI but that only gives me stuff that exists already so back to the brainboard
Something short, one- maybe two words, with a medieval, grim, dark theme that people can remember and is still available in Steam (domain can be worked around)
I came up with a super nice one that's been stuck in my head for days but..
..it's the name of a dwarf from a streamed Dungeons and Dragons campaign apparently, not sure if i can go with that
It's discontinued though in 2018
Grimestone?
I really wouldn't be qualified at naming something.
I haven't watched all the videos of your game.
@RandyNose Bookmakred! I can do something with that
Great Gritty melee balls of fury?
Might be a little bit long, and you might not be using that much of a melee ball. LOL
@RandyNose Balls of Fury
I can imagine something with that
It might be fun to have a game where you're running around like a cat chasing shit.
Instead of a gun in front of you bouncing in front of you like in Doom or quake it's a big furry paw.
But to be honest, I haven't played any video games for some time..
@stux Morningstar Chronicles
@stux hmmm...
Gruel...uh...Pursuit
@stux 'Sin Axe', would make the network engineers laugh ;)
@stux How about a made up word that evokes the right feeling? I might go with something like "Grenkmore" which doesn't seem to have any search results (feel free to use if you like it).
@stux Name it after an abandoned town?
I have a couple ideas, though I don't have any previous context outside this post.
The Recondite Castle
Hellacious Caverns
@stux how about Tales of Taliesin?

@stux What's the 'vibe' of it? Is it a general adventure, revenge plot, heroic epic... Etc
(Other than grimdark)
@justdaveisfine I want a Elden Ring/Dark Souls vibe
Super hard AI with some clues but something people gotta work for
I freaking hate autoplay so im gonna create the opposite
@stux Here are a few random ideas. Could also be used for DnD campaigns.
Honorbane (Or Honor's Bane)
The Rotting Iron Crown (Or Iron Crown of Rot)
Oath of the Defiled
Gnawed Heart
Pact of the Mad Lords
@stux
If you couldn't ever ever use a name already used or even a little famous, half of my LARPing friends would be in jail. But on the other hand I wouldn't know who to ask on the matter.
