@stux Many times I have thought about the dislike button as it is already in friendica but I have also always thought that I have plenty, if you do not give it a fav or rettot, almost everything has already been said and if you do not like it you write and tell them.
I have an image of cats for you, now I write from PC and I have it on mobile, I attach it here later.

It was more for learning the conditions and states

My humble opinion.
It is a button that can be very problematic after someone presses it and people fight over it.
Who likes to be marked with a dislike?

@coloco im not planning on showing the count or letting the user know but more for 'post ranking' for the trending page maybe or something

That would be something else, yes, for trends, but I don't see it that way.
I have never liked that button on any network.
I speak for myself, personally, I don't like seeing that button either, but I've never used it and I don't like the function it does.
