I just got a message on LinkedIn that I assume is phishing or spam from someone claiming to be in the "bird's nest business."
What the heck is that? Is this slang I haven't encountered before?
I assume it is a prelude to attempt to be robin me. Or maybe its something about being a bitcoin mynah?
Anyhow, your collective expertise is solicited.
@spaf I'm fairly sure that's my ex-barber.
@spaf @donmelton sounds cuckoo to me
@spaf I caught two clever bird puns in that OP. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a bird person, but I do know enough about birds to be pretty sure about a dozen more are hiding in there. Minimum.
@spaf
The Bird's nest industry is a very lucrative trade that has been going on for thousands of years.

@spaf Birds Nest is a Ford Thunderbird parts outlet.
@spaf whatever it is, good thing you were quick to twig it was suspicious!
@spaf I can send you some pictures of birds’ nests if you want to reply that way.
@spaf Maybe they just accepted a new job they wanted to crow about.
