@rysiek any browser recommendations for us moving away from Firefox after this?

@szpon @rysiek I got that yesterday and it’s crashed twice already
For now I’m just keeping it only at a few tabs open, idk if that’ll do anything
I configured hyprland to launch it when I start it, so when it crashes it takes out all my windows with it 🫠
Il prolly fix that now

@theearthisapringle @szpon @rysiek I never had issues with Librewolf myself and prefer it but I guess you could also try Waterfox. It has a similar goal to Librewolf but on the ESR builds of Firefox so in theory it should be more stable I guess, just make sure to change the search engine cuz they got a deal with Bing.

@rysiek "no, we 𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 your personal data for 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. That is totally different from selling."

@curiousdynamics I will wait with celebrating until it is merged

The stray numbers are an error in the PR linked, not in the original change.

Mozilla explained the rationale for the change in their new FAQ, yelling “hey bring the old one back” in PRs seems entirely couterproductive, verging on abusive:

* Update privacy/faq page copy (Fixes #16029)

* Review fixes

@rcz @rysiek oh ok, my bad, misunderstood the issue. and the rationale makes sense to me personally
