Not everyday that you identify a hitherto unrecognised class of archaeological site. I present to you, the workings from which materials to build were extracted. Shallow, sub-rectangular cuttings. Three examples I identified today at and on the . Interesting, one working per , suggesting involvement. Ground with plots.
