Bing wants to help you shop. I'm sure it does with all my data going to Microsoft's ads engine. This is a pure #ads play. This will include text messages. If you've got the Phone app linked to your messages on the phone, ... guess what?
I can't wait for Bing to start using my chat history as recent activity to inform search. After all, I do want hilarity in my life.
