come use modern computing, we have:
-gaming communication electron
-corporate communication electron
-game management (but our DRM is the good DRM!) electron
-code editing electron

There is an alternative!
…DRM-less game management… electron
@m0xee do they have a deck tho
@m0xee (hypothetical gog deck aside, i take my SD as my only portable PC when I visit my mom)
@ozzelot
I used to be into portable computing thingies, but since phones became more performant than workstations of the not-so-distant past, it kinda lost its flair for me — I either take a smol laptop with me which occupies less space in the backpack than a book would or just the phone: it's enough for communication, videos, music — not a fan of reading books from the screen, but it's also a possibility, and it's nice to take a break from other computing things once in a while
@ozzelot
Not that I know of — neither they have the budget to develop their own fork of Microsoft Wendy's emulator, but you know what…
(three letter) Galaxy Deck — that would actually sound quite cool
Besides, not sure it's still true, but a significant portion of their catalogue would run nicely even on my T43, I even remember playing original C&C and Planescape Torment during that summer… in WINE! I know these games aren't exactly new themselves, but man — this laptop is insane!
