Project Blackjack update! I've cleaned up the garage and moved the car so it's accessible from all sides. This will make prep and paint much easier. You can see I've started removing the old paint already.

Paint is hard because it needs to be done in one push. It's harder to lay down good paint across multiple sessions (and I don't need any difficulty modifiers).

First extended drive since replacing the turbo, I'm very happy with these numbers! This was in the Outback XT, no passengers or cargo, AC running, minor elevation changes over a round trip.

This vehicle is rated for 19 city/24 highway, for reference.

New tattoo today! I am super happy with how this one came out.

When you stay over at your friend's house and they don't give you a blanket.

As a truck owner: nobody needs a truck like this. This thing will kill everyone in the other car if it's in a collision, and I don't even want to think about pedestrians.

Feels like it's always two steps forward, one step back with this project. Spent a little time redoing some wiring today. About a hundred small things left to do before I can even consider a test drive.

Hey I found an open source menstrual cycle tracking app called Drip that doesn't call home to anyone and encrypts your data on your device. It's gender inclusive and it has a prebuilt version Android that you can get either on F-Droid or on their site here: bloodyhealth.gitlab.io

They have an iOS version but it's not pre compiled. I'll be working on that today so you can get loaded onto your Apple devices, along with the instructions to install it on said Apple device.

Please boost so others can see this!

Colorado apartment for rent. Has electricity and running water. $1200/mo, no pets.

Seriously though I'm pretty proud of this new storage area!

Have another deer video! Apologies for the extreme compression, I had to size this small enough to send over Discord and I forgot to make a higher quality version for Mastodon.

I like to encourage the deer to hang around, as they keep the plant growth on my septic field under control. The alternative is using a weedeater, which I dislike due to the environmental impact.

Also you can see my VW Type 1 project! It's eventually going to be EV swapped. Y'know, once I finish my other three vehicle projects.

Rented a skidsteer today! I want to buy my own so bad, but (like everything else) they're crazy expensive right now. At least the rental cost isn't too unreasonable.

Got Rarity framed and mounted today! This is a limited run print (18 of 100) by Andy Price. Signed too! The overall theme of this piece fits perfectly with the Colorado mountain town vibe.

For those who are curious, I won this at the Whinny City Pony Con charity auction. As you can see, bidding was fierce (that's me on the right). Photo by Aaron Knol Photography.

I got to do a golf today!

Haven't picked up a club in 15+ years, but I feel like it all came back to me. I was hitting a 2 iron here.
