The global politics are unfortunately affecting open-source audio. Not in a good way.

The developer of LSP plug-ins may soon be forced to serve in the Russian army. He's previously expressed his strong stance regarding the war and is definitely not on board.

The Linux Studio Plug-ins (LSP) suite is one of the most advanced and high quality. A real beacon in the libre audio.

Here's a reminder anti-virus software usually *is* the malware itself.

Usually if I see annoying popups asking for money or whatever else on someone else's PC, it's an antivirus.

Hey here's an idea film people, how about remake a movie that sucked and this time make it suck less? They keep remaking films that were legendary because they had lightning-in-a-bottle casting that couldn't have been improved upon. Quit trying to out-Candyman Tony Todd or out-Pinhead Doug Bradley or even out-Krueger Robert Englund, and do the opposite; find a film with a good story but crap casting and try it again and maybe nail it this time.

in the vast majority of cases it's incredibly sensitive information and under no circumstances should you hand it out to other people, and maybe hot take but, it should be protected as carefully as you would protect account passwords

To every person that defends google/microsoft/apple bullshit because of "security" reasons:

I will break into your house, lock your phone and computer in a safe, and leave a note saying that I have patched a vulnerability that allowed unauthorized users.

Sorry if my threat model is too advanced for you, but no one should be going around with unsafe (pun intended) devices.

This sort of ad makes me laugh, a watch company that uses the lack of features as a selling point.

"Know the time without seeing your have 1,249 unanswered emails"

Last year, I wrote the worst text-editor imaginable, in assembly.

A little over a year later of daily use, it has become the most fun and most beautiful text editor I could have never dreamed of.

@neauoire Further proof that if we were all paid to do whatever we wanted many more things would be created quickly than right now.

What I've done in the last year at my job is pointless in comparison

@g Nice. Here's how you save the first million when starting a new company: Spend $100 on a simple web page and stick to it for the next two decades. 😆
