My "life long" wish of porting #SailfishOS atleast once has been successfully accomplished. Welcome SFOS on the OnePlus 7T Pro.
I still remember talking with @cas back in 2020 when they still maintained their SFOS 3 port for the OnePlus 6 and 6T, just months before they decided going on the next awesome adventure of making both fajita and enchilada possibly the best supported devices for postmarketOS.
Thanks everyone!
@morc whoa this is awesome! SFOS looking as pretty as ever. I still remember seeing it show up for the first time and being totally in awe that I made it run and that I get to experience this software on my phone :D
Congrats for getting this going, it really is no small feat, and thank you so much for the kind words <3
@nshiell
I've been dailying the port since I tooted this and it's been pretty solid. There's still a bunch of things to iron out, but I've got things like VoLTE working out of the box too.
@morc This is quite an achievement. The most I've done is get the official images running on my phone.
I take it the Android layer wasn't available though?
@nshiell Waydroid runs just fine on it, if you need that one.
As for aliendalvik... that one not so much right now. There are some problems with it crashing around surfaceflinger that I don't know how to fix.
@morc
Where I could find a list for SFOS supported devices? I can find only the officially supported Jollas and Xperias.
I have a OP7 Pro waiting for better future, but I assume 7 Pro != 7T Pro.
guacamole isn't exactly the same as the 7T Pro, but they share a fair bit of the groundwork. I suppose that the built stuff could work either without changes or with ever so slight changes to the packages.
@JoBlade This is on downstream for now since mainline is still too "basic" for my needs. As for the repo, I'm in the process of pushing changes to github, check https://github.com/search?q=topic%3Asailfishos-hotdog+org%3A370network+fork%3Atrue&type=repositories
