GNOME Builder seemed like an absolutely wonderful IDE on Linux for me(some kind of alternative to VS2019). But... IT DOESN'T SUPPORT FREAKING SFML AND I CANNOT FIND ANY WAYS TO SUPPORT IT 😑
Goddamn it...

Are there any hikers on Mastodon? If yes, then how do you overcome your fear of being bitten by ticks and other insects? This thingie just scares me a lot and so I cannot freely go to the nature when I want to :blobcatsweats:

Everyone of us has a dream. And so do I.

Alright, I have finally transformed my stock Android into AOSP one without (almost) any Google bloat/spyware like GMS, FCM and etc. Gonna do the same about Huawei system apps, fortunately it's possible to do so. Been living without GMS for a month or so and my battery life improved a lot. My phone lives now for more than 2-3 days without any heavy usage(like was in past) and all apps used by me are purely FOSS :blob_cat_melt:

Which EU services do you use as alternatives to most services from US/Big Corps?

There's some crazy internal US politics right now that threatens #OpenTechFund, who funded #LetsEncrypt, #CertBot, @torproject , #NoScript, TLS ESNI/ECH, #DNSPrivacyProj, #ReproducibleBuilds, #Wireguard, #DeltaChat, #OpenKeychain, #pypi, @guardianproject , @signalapp , and more. Looks like a couple proprietary software companies are trying to take over this #FreeSoftware money. Please sign on to the campaign to try to stop it: saveinternetfreedom.tech

Welp, looks like I have finally found the language I was searching for! C++ is going to be my favourite for months or even years for sure! (Even though I have problems with using functions from private parts of headers)

Sometimes I feel that my freaking mind wants to blow itself right away. I want to learn GDScript while completing WebDev course(HTML/CSS/JS) + learn C++ because just why not(seriously?) and learn C lang because why not as well(do you want to kill myself?) while learning pixel art and music production and watching latest series of anime. And all of this I want to do at the SAME TIME.
I seriously wonder how such ideas come into my mind...

Anyone knows where I could find already compiled AOSP apps/AOSP apks? Just wanted to install those on my stock Android because it's not rootable/not able to run custom ROM.

Holy cow, I never though Pinafore would look and feel much better than original Mastodon's website :O

Hmm, what if learning C++ is not that bad idea at all? :ms_thinking:

Someone:
"Removing GMS spyware is impossible on stock Android!"

Me:
"adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.gms"

More and more of pure FOSS usage more and more makes me think that life without Big Tech's services is possible and it's not that bad. I wonder if one day FOSS will become mainstream and large part of population starts to support FOSS developers more ⭐

Is there anyone using or on Linux platform? Just wanted to ask if your editor or scene tab feels sluggish/lags like mine does. It feels weird because on Windows Godot works absolutely fine. I want to believe it's related to open-source drivers, not Godot itself.

Alright, I give up on compiling that... Seriously, when I fix one problem, three more come to me. I wonder how people DO compile that adequately because it seems like "Mission Impossible"...

I love all those challenges tech brings to me like fixing my broken themes in OS or drivers but I HATE THAT FREAKING COMPILING. It just frustrates me so much. I spent nearly 3 hours trying to compile Aseprite and it still DOES NOT WORK. Even more, IT DOESN'T WANT TO COMPILE AT ALL... 😫

I had never though about Git's impact on my workflow. It's so easy and fast to use after few times of pulling/pushing. Looks like I finally got adapted to such kind of things. Even more, in combination with Codeberg it gives me endless opportunities as for developer! Seriously, I love Git and Codeberg. They're one of the best tools I have ever used out there ❀️

Dear @codeberg, how does Yearly Donation work? As an example, if I decide to donate 10 euros per year, does it immediately transfer those 10 euros to you and renews that every year or it separates that to smaller amount, like few cents per week and transfers those few cents per week? πŸ€”
