Weird issue on :

When i change display brightness in xorg, the system hangs for a few seconds.
When i run vmstat during that i get a jump in the run queue:

Everything gets back to normal after that.

(could've been caused by some recent changes wrt locking in that area)

@coolbean i was just so surprised by this that i started to look for the cause. Since everything else works just fine so far.
