Denmark has donated 19 of the F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, and now Trump has ordered an end to US support for their onboard jamming equipment, thereby helping Putin destroy this USD 291,000,000 donation.

This US administration is our enemy, and the sooner our politicians realize that, the safer we are.

@randahl the French technology will be a key factor to help ukrainian fighter jets being able to jam russian drones and radars. I expect my country of birth to give more Mirages in the coming year. They will have to build more Rafales in order to replace the Mirages that could go in Ukraine.

@jbouchez @randahl

Americans like to shit on 'em, but I think the French are one of, if not the most powerful warrior culture left on the planet. At least, since we knocked all the fight out of the Japanese with two bombs.

@Uair well, my country had it share of very bad military culture with colonialism, unfortunately. Let's not forget that it's the world's 2nd largest arms exporter, behind the USA. I'm not naive; I know that the French military-industrial complex will take advantage of this situation. In fact, the stock market indices of several major French companies have risen sharply over the past two weeks. @randahl

@jbouchez @randahl

To be honest, we should start donating Rafales to Ukraine as well.

@ParadeGrotesque @randahl at around 70 millions € each, that won't happen. The French military needs at least 20 more to be fully functional, they don't have enough, but that could change with the new investments. From what I read, they will give more Mirage 2000, they still have 20 of them in the Armée de l'air. This is still a very capable plane and they upgraded the avionics for Ukraine.
