Final day of in the 😢. This time in the group. A slightly different feeling because instead of wide views over the lower land, you are constantly enclosed by jagged walls and towers. Some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen so far.

Two hikers on a path in a mini-valley filled with rocks and scree; surrounded by rock walls. The walls open op just enough to see part of the valley deep below.
Another view on one of those enclosed rock valleys in the Latemar. A 'white-red' hiking path marker can be seen on the rock in front. When looking carefully, and zooming in, a small hiker can be seen in the middle of the image, giving a feeling of the scale.
One more rocky valley with a path winding between jagged peaks and walls. Hiker provided for scale :^).
And then finally the view opens up to this huge half basin. A very nice contrast after hiking to the previous enclosed places. I _think_ that is the Latemar Spitze in the distance in the distance, right to what seems to be the highest peak.

The hike started and ended at the gorgeous Oberholz Hütte. A very successful modern version of the classic mountain hut.

View on the Oberholz Hütte from outside. The facade consists of three 'house shaped' large windows, through which the inside is visible.
And the view from the inside of the hut. Three rooms branch out from a single point, overlooking the valley through floor to bottom windows.

@ringods t waren allemaal 1 dag hikes. Daarna terug naar luxueus hotel met goed bed en lekker eten en drinken 😬.
Maar eigenlijk zou ik wel eens graag de Alta Via 1 doen.
