View on the Piera Longia. Two rock slivers sticking out of the ground in a V shape, the largest about 20m high (guess).
Looking back to the start of the hike (the Seceda lift) from high up. A nice view of the Odle/Geisler mountain group with rivers of scree flowing down from them.
Looking back at the trail, crossing a sloping mountain side under jagged peaks.
The hike's destination: the Piz Duleda, looking over the green valley deep down below.

You seem to be one of few that "passed" the ski huts and hiked along the very calm and beautiful part of these mountains.
I bet/hope you made a stop at the picturesque Malga Piera Longia 😉 #Ladinia

@m_steinwandter Twice even. Espresso on the way out, beer on the way back.
It's one of my favorite huts in the area, nice people, authentic atmosphere and I like the chickens wandering under the tables.
