Is there an ActivityPub alternative to imgur? I know Pixelfed is like Instagram, but I just want an all-purpose image repository, not a social image site.

I'm not really looking for a place to showcase every image I upload, just a nice safe place to upload images for using elsewhere, like in blog posts.
I'm not sure you'd need an AP alternative if you're just wanting to post the images elsewhere?
You'd just need somewhere to store them?
ActivityPub is a way for social servers to communicate with each other, not sure how it would be useful in that scenario?
Yeah, I guess I was just wondering how far the "de-centralized alternatives to VC-backed services" went.
If you want to own your own storage and online services, I'd highly recommend @nextcloud

It's not ActivityPub (well, there is a plugin in development) but it's under your own control.
You can also join other people's Nextcloud servers if they accept signups, just like on Mastodon.
