@feditips What are the advantages of using lists? What do people do with lists?
(happy you invited to ask questions even if they sound silly to oneself)
They're basically like customised mini-timelines. It lets you choose what kind of content you see, instead of seeing everything on one home timeline.
For example, some people like to make lists featuring news sources so that whenever they want to catch up on headlines they go to their "News" list. Others might have a "sport" list, or lists about particular hobbies etc.
It's sort of like having channels on a television or radio
