Free software should be also developed by free software tools.
Genuine question: is there a free software translation platform?
@weblate If Mastodon's translation platform will become Weblate, I will be very likely to contribute translations since I tend to translate the software I use.
But other translation services are fine, too, as long it's free software.

First, there's #Weblate. I strongly recommend it, I have recently started using it for my own games. #Minetest also uses it.
Then, there's translatewiki.net. #FreeCol uses it and a number of other projects. Also good.
There are also #Zanata and #Pootle but I have no experience with these and they may be outdated (check for yourself).
