Are you still using the official Mastodon app? You don't have to!
There are loads of brilliant third party apps which work with your existing Mastodon account.
Unlike Twitter, Facebook etc, Mastodon uses open standards, which means third party apps can do everything the official apps do and more.

Click on Android, iOS etc to narrow down the app selection.

Yes, there's a roadmap for Mastodon and its official apps at https://joinmastodon.org/roadmap
Bear in mind you need to view this on a horizontal screen to see which parts of the map apply to which elements. On the horizontal version, Android app sections will be labelled "AND", iOS is "iOS" and core Mastodon is "MAS". On the vertical version these labels are hidden, unfortunately.
@feditips I probably could have not been lazy and Googled that and gotten an answer! But I appreciate you taking the time to give me that info, and all the work you're doing with the Tips gig here. It's a valuable contribution and you're appreciated.
