This actually was a very important decision because, even though the court is allowing these deportations to continue, IT UPHELD DUE PROCESS RIGHTS. Moving forward then, in these other similar cases, it's clear indication of how they are going to vote in those. The are going to uphold due process rights.
Supreme Court splits 5-4 to grant Trump emergency relief in Alien Enemies Act deportation litigation
Trump officials asked the high court to vacate a judge’s temporary restraining orders, which they’ve been accused of violating.

@PDFlynn naturalized citizen, here. Not white. Veteran, deployed multiple times.
None of that made me feel ANY safer.
Nihil, nada, zip, zilch.
They'll move people to the accursed MAGAty shitholes of texas (no capital letters, thanks), where illegitimate kangaroo maga courts with repugnant appointed judges will simply deny everything through "due process"
Doesn't make much sense to privileged white people, I guess.
@faraiwe Sir, you could be 100% correct. I am only expressing my opinion here. Nothing more than that. And my opinion, after reading about this SCOTUS decision, is that it indicates how they will vote in the future regarding these similar cases. And that, due process was upheld here. Therefore, it seems to me, due process rights will be upheld in these other cases coming before them as well. I am saying nothing more or less than that. What follows when and if due process rights are upheld, I have no idea and will not speculate on that. Your opinion seems to be, and correct me if I am wrong, that it matters not at all whether this SCOTUS upholds constitutional due process rights or not. I think legal due process matters, you do not. Have I got that right?
@PDFlynn Sir, in this case, yes, you are.
This court is NOT legitimate. Has not been, since Treason Turtle denied Legal nominations by a POTUS he didn't like. Ended there.
The illusion of "due process" will melt into the harsh reality of bought and paid for magat judges in areas where Law is meaningless, such as the whole of texas.
But the first ones to find out aren't gonna be the privileged. It's going to be the African-Americans, Latin, Asians, etc.
@faraiwe Hmmm, looks like someone here agrees with you. And makes some good points too.
The Corrupt Supreme Court Strikes Again
The Supreme Court took 6 months to decide immunity, but just 6 days to effectively strip the rest of us of due process.

@PDFlynn Don't need a website to be right.
Observing reality and not be swimming in a river in NE Africa suffices.
Here is another website, since some seem to only apprehend reality through html/https
@faraiwe You don't seem to like it even when someone agrees with you. Why even bother sharing your thoughts and opinions when you seem to think yours are the only ones that matter?
@PDFlynn thoughts that are based on wishful thinking and detachment from actual risk are somewhat patronizing.
I may not have a fancy website to validate what I say, but maybe someone who has undergone the process of migration and naturalization, AND suffered systemic racism should be listened to. Maybe.
Who knows...
