denialism is no longer a major problem, but climate minimization is. There are plenty of people who see other issues as having more immediate priority in their lives, and honestly I can't blame them. They reasonably believe that we need to address inflation, income inequality, and lack of insurance coverage. But what they have wrong is that we *can and must* address climate while addressing these other issues.

@entwininglife What people have wrong is not fully comprehending how intertwined all those issues are with the environment. But to be able to go there requires a massive paradigm explosion. Meaning, you have to understand and reject the root cause of it all: capitalism.

@prgauthier I agree 100%. If we address the problem at the root, we can address all of those issues.

@entwininglife I'd like to make a correction. Climate CHANGE denialism, and climate CHANGE minimalisation.
You see, removing that word has already removed the impact. You can say #ClimateCrisis and #ClimateCatastrophy, and not lose the urgency. But, inferring that people are denying climate? That's a nonsense.
Minimising weather has been a thing for decades. Just a 'bit of wind' blowing the roof off a house down the road. Yeah, it rained a bit more than usual, says the guy sitting on his roof.
Climate Change is when these things happen every year...or twice a year. Denying that this is happening - or could happen - is done by dangerous fools. Denying that it is anthropomorphic? Same. Pumping Co2 into the atmosphere at a greater rate? Have they found another planet?

@Tooden I was just using the common phrase (it's usually called climate denialism rather than climate change denialism), but I agree with you that climate change denialism is more precise.
