@elfin The key issue is not that the thing being sold was an NFT, nor that the buyers of the NFTs are "suckers".

The lawsuit is an accusation that there was collusion by some people to make it appear there was demand for this item at a high price point, which has ripple effects for those assets on other marketplaces. There is demand and organic buyers for these assets, but not at the value that was demonstrated at that auction.
