So when someone takes screenshots in a Signal group chat, an alert doesn’t appear on the screen?

An alert appears in other encrypted apps like Telegram (in secret chat mode).
If there are no alerts, anyone can be taking screenshots and sharing. And who else was in the chat? What about other chats?

So no, apparently anyone can just take a screenshot in a Signal group chat and no one else in the chat knows.

There could be major hacks, especially considering how they’re dismantling the threads of government that know what they’re doing.

@dalfen it makes sense though, Europe is where the social state is the most developed.. many countries have high taxes and good social services. They hate that.
The same way Putin feels much more threatened by the EU than by NATO. He had no problems with Turkey or the Baltics in NATO. Ukraine wanting to sign a deal with the EU was the trigger of the war, democracy is the threat, not NATO.
