Is it normal for the US government to use Signal in-house to figure out its military plans?
Apparently yes (I just heard an analysis about it).
Update: Well, it’s apparently not unheard of for the US gov’t to use Signal, but I don’t know about using it to discuss classified military plans.
I just saw SCREENSHOTS of the convo— they used freaking emojis discussing their bombing plans.

(Apparently, it was the editor-in-Chief of the Atlantic, not just a reporter, and he said was working in the ‘public interest’ by revealing that he was in the group).
