I must admit that as a blind trans woman of somewhat elderly years, there's not much I can do to stem this awful tide of anti-trans bs that's being spewed out of a country I once thought was free, so here's my little contribution. @chrissie_artist Yeah, it seems that the US is stripping the freedom that the #LGBT community were trying to fight for. It's becoming a dog eat dog out there. I have the upmost respect for the #LGBT community.

@carrottop1023 I know, I keep up with the news there. The UK I hope won't go the same way but it's looking a little likely, though in true English style, a little convoluted though :smile:

@chrissie_artist And, I don't like how Musk is taking over several agencies in the US.
@chrissie_artist He has, apparently, the power to disband several of them, including the Agency for International Development.
@chrissie_artist The other sad thing is, Trump also wants to get rid of the Department of Education.
@chrissie_artist Musk wasn't elected, he was picked by trump to the posision he's currently in.

@chrissie_artist There are some American citizens that are not impressed with their government, that's for sure.
@carrottop1023 Yes but what'sd worrying is there are still many just letting it happen, so long as the cost of living comes down.
@chrissie_artist True but, they shouldn't sacrifice the rights of it's citizens, just for their own vandenna.
