Vaccinated and unvaccinated present nearly identical results regarding PACS.
Only minor memory issues were lower on the vaccinated group.

What is PACS?
Is the technical term for Long Covid (Post Acute Covid Syndrome)

The vaccine doesn't work?
It only prevents life threatening symptoms during the acute phase. It might reduce the probability of having PACS, but it doesn't lower the effect of PACS if you do get it.

>>

International Journal of Infectious DiseasesPost-acute symptoms 3-15 months after COVID-19 among unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals with a breakthrough infectionIntroduction

Does it affect me?
It affects everyone. If you had COVID, asymptomatic, mild or strong, part of the population will develop PACS, which can affect any organ.

Even after I'm over Covid?
Yes. Protein remains of the virus can remain in the blood stream for months, and can damage any organ, including the brain.

Like what?
Most frequently memory loss, problems concentrating but it can trigger inflammatory pathways similar to Alzheimer or Parkinson's

>>

But if I had covid and had no symptoms after, am I in the clear?
No. You can catch Covid again, and the probability of getting PACS increases with every reinfection.

But I'm vaccinated!
Vaccine just protects you from getting mortally ill during the acute phase. It doesn't protect against PACS.

>>

But they said it was a respiratory virus!
It's an Aerial Transmission virus. That is the medium it uses to infect. But COVID is a Multisystemic Virus. It can attack any organ or tissue on your body.

Authorities know about this?
Of course they do.

Why aren't they communicating this.
Great question. We have no idea.

>>

Can something be done?
Of course! Not getting infected.
Educating, Masking, Ventilation, Filtration, CO₂ monitors.

PACS is no myth. It's serious, long paced and might have permanent implications.
Use masks for your own safety.

@carlostph you mean mortally ill but the typo gave me a chuckle

@mediajunkie darn.. I'll fix it.
Just to let you know.... I had second thoughts about fixing it. 😆

@carlostph i do like the idea of protection from getting morally ill!
