Vaccines haven't been reliable for preventing covid infections for a very long time now and even when they do their efficacy plummets after a month or two. To make offices safe you would need both masking (N95 or better) and enough air filtration to get multiple air changes per hour. Those are the facts. That is what the science says
Like cmon the covid vaccines haven't worked properly for preventing infection since omicron. Arguably since delta. And the "updated shots" haven't helped since covid is mutating and spawning variants far too rapidly in the fuck around and find out era of the pandemic. That means vaccines haven't been useful for preventing infections for 2 years or more. How are people this outdated on their covid science?

@sabik @anggiar the only way to detect deaths anymore, since they're largely misattributed now, is by looking at excess deaths which are still 20% higher than 2019
that data is getting lost too though as governments start including 2020 and 2021 and beyond in their excess deaths calculations so give it a few more years and they'll just read as "baseline" or even "improving slightly" even though things are still about as bad as they were in 2020

Where I live, there is almost no reliable information as the government stopped collecting it. The one thing we get is COVID in wastewater, and that's increased a great deal in the last few weeks: https://coronadashboard.rijksoverheid.nl/landelijk/rioolwater

General observation in Hospital suggest that Covid cases are basically nonexistent. Currently there are no longer Mask mandate or Vaccination (Most of the population received their 3rd vaccine).

I hate to say it, but I'm very skeptical.
There is no good medical reason to stop recording COVID data. It's like not collecting data on a volcano because it isn't erupting right now.
Here in the Netherlands they stopped most recording, but you can see that COVID in the wastewater is increasing again.

@anggiar @eniko We have allowed COVID to become a permanent part of our lives and we just don't talk about it anymore, but over 1000 people a day die from it still. Our governments decided to stop fighting it and stop talking about it for economic reasons, not for public health reasons.

@TomSwirly @eniko I concur, in Jakarta it's most likely an attempt to stabilize the economy. Small-businesses are practically choked to death during covid but at the cost of shutting down Covid mitigation infrastructure.
