@humanetech Hello. I am very sorry, but we are being hacked by a malicious entity. Could you please beware of any false information coming from accounts masquerading as this one?
This was not the sort of thing I wanted to wake up to, but alas. Please contact me personally if you notice anything from other fake accounts.
While some conspiracy theorists argue not to use encryption as this would put you on the radar of three-letter agencies, we argue the opposite: Everyone should use encryption to protect others. #Fight4Privacy
The hackers seem to have created a copy-cat account which they have transferred all followers to.
THIS IS THE REAL REVERSEEAGLE ACCOUNT. I would be more than happy to provide reinforcing evidence. Any other copies of this are a scam, and may post dubious, untrue information to harm the reputation of the project.
To the hackers: I will be sharing your IP's publicly. Do not expect this to go away quickly.
Framagit is going to prevent registrations soon. What does this mean for ReverseEagle?
We are going to be moving our code to https://forge.tedomum.net, another #GitLab instance, hosted by @tedomum.
You can find our repositories here: https://forge.tedomum.net/ReverseEagle
We want to give our thanks to @tedomum for letting us use their services, free of cost!
We've just created new guides, so you can make your disagreement with nonfree software heard. 👊

👋 @humanetech is a list containing ethical resources, software and other sources of info:

We are very glad to see our privacy-focused projects listed! This will give us the opportunity to connect with like-minded people, and others looking for ethical alternatives to nonfree software.

Second month since the founding of ReverseEagle recapped!
@fdroidorg hello, I'm wondering why use #GitLab.com to host your projects instead of a GitLab instance. GitLab.com uses #Google #recaptcha, Google #Analytics, and #Cloudflare, which are all proprietary. I've heard of #TeDomum, which is a French organization that hosts numerous projects; one of them being GitLab: https://forge.tedomum.net/explore/projects
Hi @boud,
we are currently teaming up with @ReverseEagle so there will be also a place for the "geeky questions" 😉
You can find their site here:

including @codeberg 😁

@ReverseEagle and don't forget to share the word with other businesses!
We must not repeat T******'s mistake of using the checkmark as a vanity tool.
It's great that we're growing, but we must also solve the problems T****** ignored out of complacency.
If enough people leave T******, shareholders will be furious and take their money elsewhere.
Remember my prior comments about appealing to a business' perception of money to sway them to alternatives.

Introducing our new logo!
Since the previous author of the logo retracted their consent to us for using their logo, we were forced to create a new one.
We are happy to announce that we have created a new logo! A lot of us love pixel-art, so this was the style we have decided to use. And since we adore FOSS, we also decided to release it under the GPLv2, so anybody is free to use it!
Special thanks to u/taminaru for creating the original logo!
We're making a new #Free and #OpenSource #logo!
Feel free to join us if you want to contribute to the logo! The logo will finalize the 17/07/2020.
